For
double mechanical seals that are operated with higher barrier fluid pressure,
several sizes and types of barrier fluid containers are available. For
tandem-operated seals, i.e. where the fluid between the seal is pressureless
the containers are used as so-called quench-pots (thermosyphone principle).

Equipment:
The containers are according to the corresponding print (Z.Nr.) and
furnished with a bracket for wall attachment, sight glas, connections
G2", G1/2" and G1/8" (without close-up plugs) , alternately with cooling
line and mounting bracket for manual refill pump.
Material:
All barrier fluid contacted items: 1.4301 (q. 304)
Approvals:
According to AD-sheet W2 §4; Pressure vessel regulation 11/92, group
II; Material reference according to DIN 50049; Pressure tested with
water; TÜV-test approval by request.
The pressure vessels correspond to DGRL 97/23/EG (EU) and are correspondingly
labelled (CE sign).
